Spot lighting: Lighting up the bathroom mirror in an efficient way

There are different types of lamp that can be used to illuminate the mirror in bathroom; among the most used there are the mirror lamps with a swiveling clip or spotlights.Usually the latter are built in the false ceiling and placed in line with the sink border.

However, this type of lighting comes from above and tends to create shadows on the face, especially under the nose, on the chin and under the eyes, altering the perception of the skin tone.For this reason, it is usually suggested to place two spot lightings on both sides of the mirror but avoiding that the lights directly head towards on the mirror, in order to avoid annoying glares. 

The type of lamp also varies according to the width of the surface to be illuminated:For the smaller mirrors, lamps with just one spot lighting with a less intense light flow are enough, while for the larger mirrors it is better to align more spot lighting.
